Volkswagen rolled out 100,000th car from its Chakan plant

The German automobile maker and the Europe’s leading automobile group Volkswagen was one of the late players to enter the Indian market but the company has been aggressive and has already become hugely popular with its brands having big demand. Now it has been reported that after a little over 18 months from the start of serious production at its greenfield plant at Chakan, Volkswagen India has rolled out its 100,000th car from the plant. The company makes variants of the VW Polo and Vento, as well as the Skoda Fabia at the Chakan plant.Vcommindia News
