Bookings of Maruti Swift crosses 1,00,000 units mark

Maruti Swift, one of the most sought after premium hatchbacks in the Indian market, continues to drive large number of bookings in the country, even as its production has been affected by the ongoing worker’s strike at Maruti’s Manesar plant. The booking figures for the new age Swift have crossed the crucial mark of 1,00,000 units, even as the company had to stop receiving booking in the Indian auto market due to the strike.

On the company side they are working hard to normalize the supply of the car to the buyers across the country by enhancing the production at the strike affected Manesar unit. Currently, the total bookings for the Maruti Swift stay at 1.08 lakh units in the Indian market. The company has increased the production of the car to 700 units a day, comprising the production at both Manesar and Gurgaon plants.Vcommindia News
