The future car of BMW is like Tron

During the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show BMW's Vision Efficient Dynamics was shown it has spawned two further cars, the i8 and the i3, which are set to propel BMW into a future of glass, electricity and, yes, laser lights.

While the i8 is a plug-in hybrid but the i3 is a purely electric car in town with suicide doors, which BMW calls the "Megacity Vehicle", which probably does not mean Manila or Addis Ababa, but L.A with more neon. It is the love child of a wedge and a glass bubble and will come with an engine of 170 horsepower electric.
