Hyundai Tucson, Nissan Qashaqai and GM's Captiva will be taken over by Mahindra & Mahindra by introducing SUV XUV 500

MUMBAI: A new range of SUV will be launched at global market by India's largest utility vehicle maker, Mahindra & in the next two months.

The SUV, called XUV 5OO, will be launched in South Africa in the same day in India. That will cost around Rs 12.16 lakhs in India. The SUV will Hyundai Tucson, Nissan and GM Qashaqai Captiva in South Africa and Western Europe.

M&M is launching this the first time a SUV conceptualized and built fully in India for the global market.

Dr Pawan Goenka, President, Automotive, Mahindra & Mahindra shared that, "We studied Western Europe and South Africa because these were the markets we wanted to get into and we think we have a strong proposition in XUV 5OO for these markets"Vcommindia News
