New MissionL compact car from Skoda is ready to launch in India by Dec 2011

Skoda Auto, the Czech Republic based unit is the largest European auto manufacturer Volkswagen, is planning to launch a compact car in the Indian market by this year end. The car is named as MissionL and is currently on display at the Frankfurt Motor Show course in Germany. According to the company, the new Skoda MissionL is in its final development stage and will be launched shortly.

According to a statement given recently, the firm said, “The MissionL will be launched in Europe, Russia and China in 2012, and the customers in India will see it arrive in the market even earlier, before the end of 2011.”

The decision to shoot, the new compact car in the Indian market MissionL is in line with expectations of the company to increase its global market sales of 1.5 million by 2018. In India, the company is planning to expand its portfolio by launching the new car in the mini segment and the midsize sedan segment.Vcommindia News
