There has been a 28 percent increase in total sales in September in the sector of two-wheeler maker India Yamaha Motor at 43,462 units. As shown in the reports the company had sold 33,944 units in the same month last year. In the domestic market, the company's sales stood at 32,637 units as against 24,133 units in the same month last year, up 35.2 percent.
Further reports mentioned that, exports of India Yamaha increased by 10.3 percent to 10,825 units during the month from 9,811 units in the year-ago period. The reports quoted India Yamaha Motor Director, Sales & Marketing, Jun Nakata as saying "We are very happy with our sales performance this month which can be attributed to our deluxe & premium segment bikes such as FZ series and YZF-R15. The newly launched R15 version 2.0 has also been received very well in the market and we are trying our best to meet the growing demand."Vcommindia News
