In September Hero Motocorp reported its highest ever monthly sales of over 5.49 lakh units

The world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMC), reached yet another milestone by reporting its highest-ever monthly sales. Hero MotoCorp sold 549,625 units of two-wheelers in the month of September’11, registering a growth of 26.75 per cent over the corresponding month last year when it had sold 4, 33,641 units.

Further consolidating its strong leadership position in the two-wheeler industry, Hero MotoCorp which is formerly known as Hero Honda Motors Ltd closed the second quarter (July-September) of FY’12 with the sales of 15,44,315 units of two-wheelers, a growth of 20.1 per cent over the corresponding quarter in FY’11 when the company had sold 12,85,944 units.
