Nissan planning to export Sunny sedan to West Asia and Africa next year

Nissan Motors India which has been on a resurgent course in Indian automobile market is reportedly planning to start exporting Sunny, its locally made mid-level Sedan, to West Asia and Africa early next year as it looks to tap into high demand for such cars in these regions, according to a report in The Economic Times. Nissan has launched Sunny mid-size sedan last week and it is made in its plant in Chennai.

The report quoted Kiminobu Tokuyama, managing director as saying "Though our priority is the local market, we will also aggressively pursue export volumes.’’ He added that the Japanese carmaker plans to launch an multipurpose vehicle in the country next year. "It is going to be an MPV like Innova," he said without disclosing the price range for the product and other details.Vcommindia News
