India's hot new wheels: Business of running trucks with 12 & 16 wheels

Between 2005-06 and 2009-10, sales of trucks, yes those irritating, lumbering, gaudily painted giants hogging the roads, in India jumped nearly 17%. In fact, these commercial vehicles have become the lifeline of the Indian economy, carting 65% of the country's freight today.
