By Rs 2 per kg the CNG price may go up

Now there is likely to be raise in the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) that is to be bumped up by Rs 2 per kg in the next few days due to the depreciating value of the Indian rupee. Local city gas retailers, which supply CNG to automobiles, procure raw materials mainly from Reliance Industries or the state-owned GAIL, prices of which have been increased due to the rupee dive.
