NFL Jaguar to be purchased by Auto supplier owner

For purchasing of the Jacksonville Jaguars pro football team from owner Wayne Weaver is agreed by a main U.S.-based auto supplier. Shahid Khan, who is a Pakistani born businessman and the owner of Flex-N-Gate Corp in Urbana Ill. since 1980, has been in the market for an NFL franchise for the last few years. He attempted to buy the St. Louis Rams last year.

The company -- which makes a variety of bumpers, fascias, running boards, and other stamped parts -- employs over 12,000 people at 57 facilities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Spain and Argentina.Automobile News
