Chevys first functionality oriented sedan-sized concept Chevrolet Code 130 R, is in a performance coupe form that seats four passengers. It consists of a simple upright profile and the paint scheme is an all-new red metal with matte anodized gold wheels. Aimed at younger buyers this car will go head to head with the likes of the Subaru BR-Z and the Toyota GT-86.
The Code 130R features heritage performance-inspired styling and rear-wheel drive. With an aggressive front fascia, flared wheel arches, straight body side and Chevy cross flag emblem, Code 130R makes a clear link to Chevrolet's performance heritage.
The designer of Code 130R conceived the turbocharged engine to be tuned to work in tandem with eAssist technology. By shutting off the engine at stops, regenerative braking, and smooth torque delivery during acceleration, this concept takes automotive electrification to the next level and balances turbocharged performance with fuel economy.
Interior connectivity and convenience featuring innovative storage, WiFi, smart phone integration with Chevrolet My Link and heads-up display is what this new age deserves and it is what Chevy will give.
