At Auto Expo Force Motors showcases world’s largest, production-ready monocoque van

Last week at the Auto Expo Force Motors presented the world’s largest monocoque van (a type of construction that combines the chassis and body into a single entity, commonly used on passenger cars), designed and developed completely in-house that can seat 26 people. The company claims that the Traveller-26 is the first in its class to be painted through Electro-deposition that improves rust protection.

It offers the lowest floor height in its category and the lowest center of gravity in its class thereby scoring high in the departments of handling and stability. It is equipped with disc brakes on all four corners and electronic brake pad wear indicators.

The engine is licensed by Daimler – the intercooled CRDI unit delivers 130PS/295Nm and is paired to the G-33/5 gearbox. Force has not published the full tech specs but writes in the press note of class-leading fuel economy, maintenance bills and power-to-weight ratio.

A 15 seater luxury edition with wide reclining seats, air conditioning and class best leg room is in the offing as well. We’ll keep an eye out on the 26 and its journey to the dealer showroom.Force Motors
