Engg. Students developed two ultra low-cost cars and create sensation

In every field experiments are possible and to prove that the youngsters are not behind in any way, two groups of engineering students have miraculously developed something extraordinary very recently. Two cars are developed one which is an ambivalent car only possible in imaginations, the other a highly fuel efficient break-through for the generations to remember. The two cars are just short of creating a sensation for the world to know and came into limelight, when the district Collector T. MunuSwamy went to appraise the situation and acknowledged the innovation in the engineering field.

An electric car that can travel like any other car on the road and suddently transforms into a boat to sail on water is only something we get to see in a sci-fi movie or serials from our childhood. But, this did happen in reality this time when a group of students - Rajendra Kumar, Nitesh Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Abhishek Raj, Chandrakanth and Sanjay Kumar from the PRIST University in Thanjavur made a ground-breaking invention under the guidance from the researchers Balasundaram, Jayraj and Murali from an engineering firm located in a small town of Tarangambadi near Nagapattinam. The unique car is powered by an electric motor which imbibes the solar power while on the run and co-ordinate together to zoom through the roads at a top speed of 30 kmph and runs like a motor boat delivering a 15 kmph speed on water.Automobile News
