Unveil of the New BMW DTM car

The all new Castrol EDGE BMW M3 DTM livery was revealed today as the team unveiled the new design that will adorn one of the BMW motorsport cars during the 2012 DTM season. The sponsorship marks the continuation of Castrol’s long-standing technical partnership with the iconic car manufacturer.

Castrol EDGE, Castrol’s strongest oil yet, will feature prominently on the new Castrol EDGE BMW M3 DTM livery as part of a team of six BMW M3 DTM cars set to compete in the championship.

Donald Smith, Castrol Sponsorship Manager, said: “The DTM is one of the most spectacular racing series in Europe and pushes the drivers, teams and cars to the very limit. It is because of these high-performance demands that we research and develop our products through the extremes of motorsport.
