Launch of Ford Fiesta automatic on February 28

Ford will launch the automatic version of the Fiesta sedan in India on February 28. The upcoming Fiesta is armed with dual-clutch power shift gearbox, to the mid-size segment which is alien and is given to only the models at the top-end of cars starting from Skoda Laura and VW Jetta. 

Latest six-speed transmission will be available only with the petrol variants and is equipped with uphill and descent assist. Although, Ford is not offering paddle shifters in this model, in its segment it is still the most technologically advanced transmission, and can run maintenance free for 2, 40,000kms or 10 years. 

It is expected from Ford Fiesta to be priced around Rs 11 lakh which is slightly higher than its competition, but so are its features.
