Honda Siel Cars India Ltd., a leading manufacturer of premium cars in India, announced that production has resumed normal operations with two changes from today. Following the interruption of supplies from Thailand, the company had been working under severe constraints in production since November 2011. "We are delighted to announce that we have resumed two shifts from today. We will have a production of 370 cars a day from today and from next week it will rise to 440 units per day. We are sure to get an impression of the production peak in March 2012. We are grateful to our valued customers for their patience and understanding during these difficult times. Honda has been carefully monitoring the process of supply of parts and have taken all the necessary recovery measures to normalize the situation of production now critical components obtained from Japan and China, "Honda Siel Cars India, Senior Vice President (marketing and Sales) Jnaneswar Sen said. Normal production resumed by Honda at Greater Noida plant
