Jaipur Auto Expo commence with new models
With stunning colors and dazzling appearance latest eye-catchy vehicles could be seen at the Jaipur Auto-Expo that was held from 18th to 20th February, 2012. Jaipur Auto Expo was the largest automotive show in Rajasthan organized the first time by Patrika events at Ambedkar Circle. Included with most fashionable, attractive and latest vehicle it was all set to dazzle the crowd. With this event Patrika group actually provided a platform to the automakers to showcase their new luxury cars to the largest TG segment.
Vehicles on display
The event included a host of latest models and launches in four wheeler, two-wheelers, electric vehicles, accessories, commercial vehicles and related services. This mega fair was actually a unique blend of fashion and cars. It was an exclusive show which featured several popular brands with their latest models. Few cars that attracted the attention were on New Maruti Swift Dzire, A- star, Alto K10, new swift and SX4. Mahindra & Mahindra’s newly launched Xylo was one of the major attractions, forthcoming Bajaj RE60 was also displayed. Apart from these the French car maker Renault, recently launched the luxury SUV Renault Koleos, which will compete in market against BMW’s X1 and Chevrolet Captiva. This French luxury SUV was also seen at the fair along with Renault’s premium hatchback, Pulse. Honda Siel Cars India Limited presented its entire fleet of cars in the auto fair. This included the New Honda City, Brio, Jazz and Accord.
BMW displayed the BMW X1 along with the mid-segment luxury SUV BMW X3. Force Motors, displayed its first passenger vehicle, Force One was also seen at the 2012 Jaipur Auto Expo. German carmaker Volkswagen presented its premium hatchback, Polo along with Vento and Passat. Ford India boasted its recently launched Figo, new Fiesta and Endeavour. Hyundai displayed the i10, Verna and Eon LPG. Tata displayed its baby hatch Nano, New Indica Vista and Manza. It also boasted the crossover Aria. Fiat Linea, Nissan Sunny and Skoda Rapid also found room on this event.
Apart from luxurious coupe the mega event witnessed latest two wheelers too. Latest Swiss scooter 125 with sporty look costs Rs 51,862, high end gear sports cycles.
Visitor’s inquiry
Maximum Visitors at Auto expo were seen excited about BMW 650i( Approx 1 crore), especially youngsters were keen to know that, is it the same car Hollywood star Tom Cruise drove in ‘MI-4′. Other that BMW, besides visitors was also inquiring about Tata Nano. Many of them were also seen taking information’s about latest bike.
Availability of finance
Fair had availability of finance too, banks like HDFC and other nationalized banks were providing loan facility on the spot.
Bookings
Expo witnessed good booking of brands like Hyundai Eon, Mahindra Xylo, New Swift Dzire, Force one etc.
Highlights of the event
Auto Fashion Show and Stunt shows were the main attraction of the exhibition. In colorful fluid lights and rocking music, latest models of cars cat walked on ramp during Auto expo. To add glamour to the show the models gave glamour to very unique and exciting fashion show of cars. Audiences in expo enjoyed the dance performances by models during catwalk. The Expo was liked by the people of Jaipur.
Then there were other attractions, like a simulator machine provided by Jaipur RTO, which gave directions of save driving tips and techniques. It was a chance for entrepreneurs to display their product line. There was a variety of products from oils, lubricants, car accessories and car decors. The companies even showed their safety tools along with automobile tyres and latest gadgets.
The mega fair was a great success. It drove the whole pink city crazy for sporty bikes and luxurious cars.
