'Swift Dzire Tour' is the new name given by Maruti to old Dzire

The old version of Maruti Swift Dzire has not discontinued by Maruti Suzuki India after the launch of its new version in February this year. The original version of Swift Dzire will now be sold only to the taxi and fleet operators from next month onwards i.e. April 2012. Swift Dzire’s taxi-spec version will be known as Swift Dzire Tour. This first generation Dzire is found  in the base variants only, LXi being the petrol variant and LDi being the diesel one.
The Swift Dzire Tour will consist of all the standard features that include AC, power steering steel wheels, front and rear bumpers, outside rear-view mirrors and black door knobs. The petrol variant of Swift Dzire Tour is priced at Rs. 4.88 lakh whereas the diesel variant is priced at Rs. 5.91 lakh in India (ex-showroom Delhi). There are number of competitors of the Swift Dzire Tour like Tata Indigo XL, Toyota Etios, Mahindra Verito.
Petrol variant of Tata Indigo XL is priced at Rs. 6.29 lakh and the diesel variant is priced at Rs. 5.91 lakh. Price of Toyota Etios for petrol variant is Rs. 5.14 lakh and for diesel variant is Rs. 6.69 lakh. The Mahindra Verito prices for petrol and diesel variant are Rs. 5.04 lakh and Rs. 5.97 lakh respectively. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi prices.Automobile News
