Highest ever monthly sales reported by Nissan India in February

[[posterous-content:pid___0]]Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd (NMIPL), the Japanese auto maker has highest ever monthly sales in the country at 5,371 units in February, registering an over two-fold jump over the corresponding period a year ago.

According to reports, in the same month last year, the company had sold a total of 2,081 units. The company's compact car Micra recorded sales of 2,198 units, while sedan Sunny accounted for 3,130 units.

NMIPL Managing Director Kiminobu Tokuyama said "I'm delighted to see Nissan achieve our highest ever monthly sales total in India. This result reflects the growing acceptance of Nissan cars amongst Indian customers and is something we want to build on."Automobile News
