Commencing on April 6, 2012 the New York International Auto Show was expected to witness the revelation of the 2013 GL Class by the German auto giant Mercedes Benz but there are leaked photos of this new car all over the internet.The second-generation GL Class goes sleeker than its predecessor and is also rendered with upgraded engine and features.
The new Mercedes Benz GL Class pictures show off the LED running lights, the wide air dam with a chrome strip running beneath. The car gets a brand new metal sheet for the body too. There is a lot of chrome added to the windows sills, the door handles, the boot and the rear air dam.
The car’s exterior is a rousing amalgamation of luxury, sophistication and ruggedness. The interior of this car is blessed with the distinctive and stylish elegance typical of the Mercedes brand. The car sports highly refined supple leather upholstery, graceful wood-grain trims and nicely sculpted surfaces.
The central console is simple and beautiful with au courant features. The three rows seating arrangement is more inclined on attracting buyers looking for a family luxury car. The car is said to have been built on the revised ML platform with more interior space and better fuel economy.
It is speculated that the car is powered with both V-6 and V-8 engines with turbochargers in one or more and a diesel six-cylinder engine; however, nothing has been officially announced.
