On Monday the main auto manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra, said that it has become the official intervention and partner support vehicle at Buddh International Circuit (BIC), and will host the first Indian Grand Prix next month.
According to a statement given by the company,”Mahindra Scorpios will bring 25 Scorpios as the official intervention and support vehicles at the BIC over the next five years and for various motor sports including Formula-1 race."According to the company, the fleet of sports utility vehicles (SUV) would include 10 VLX 4wd Scorpios (four-wheel drives) and 15 Scorpio getaways 4wd."This partnership is in line with our goal to promote motor sport. This (partnership) will also enhance our other initiatives that we have taken in Moto GP races," Vivek Nayer, senior vice president, marketing, automotive division,Mahindra and Mahindra said on the sidelines of an event.Vcommindia News
