The total sell of vehicles of Ashok Leyland Ltd, India’s second largest commercial vehicle maker announced that its total vehicle sales in August has fallen from 3.5 percent to 7,218 vehicles from 7,480 a year ago.
It was mentioned in the report that the domestic sales fell to 6,168 from 6,705 vehicles whereas the exports rose to 1,050 from 775, it said in a statement.It can be recalled that the commercial vehicle manufacturer from Hinduja group had reported a 16 percent jump in sales during July. The Chennai headquartered company reported sales of 7,834 units in July 2011, up 16 percent compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.Vcommindia News
