STOCKHOLM (Bloomberg) -- Volvo Car Corp. and Siemens AG, said they plan an alliance to develop electric vehicles and their goal is to begin to test the cars before the end of this year.
Siemens, the largest European engineering company, developed the electric motors and charging systems to Volvo, Gothenburg, Sweden. Siemens will test up to 200 Volvo electric car under real conditions in late 2012 on the trail of evidence from studies in the coming months, the manufacturers said in separate statements.
Volvo, which sells for Ford Motor Co. last year to China's Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., aims to more than double sales of 800,000 vehicles in 2020 at 373,525 years past.Vcommindia News
