Nissan Pathfinder Concept by 2012

The Nissan Pathfinder entered the market in 1986 and at present is only in its third generation (which began in 2005). With seven years under its belt, it’s high time for this SUV to enter the next chapter of its life and Nissan is prepping that with its first concept version debuting at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show in January.

So far, the only thing Nissan has been willing to give up on the Pathfinder Concept is a teaser image and confirmation that it will be built on a new platform and will feature a dramatic new aerodynamic body. Nissan also announced that the next generation Pathfinder will feature thoughtful technology and offer comfortable seating for seven passengers, as well as ample cargo room.

The Nissan Pathfinder Concept will be unveiled on January 9, 2012 and will be followed by a production version scheduled to go on sale in Fall 2012
