Mercedes-Benz India seems to feel his big moment to cancel the competition. The German luxury brand brought the largest number of cars on the screen with 18 cars in total for the Auto Expo India this season, the auto czar Greman apparently has spent a whopping Rs 20 crore in his post that certainly looks splendid . India and India Toyota Mercedes-Benz are the only two automakers to launch two new vehicles each in the Auto Expo 11. The cars but has put a great show this year the launch of theMercedes-Benz SLS AMG roadster and the new Mercedes-Benz M-Class, while there were many more cars to boast about. The A-Class concept and S600 Pullman limousine range of cars were a couple of brands among the rest put up for display. Ever since BMW snatched over the reigns from Mercedes-Benz to preside over the number one position in the domestic luxury car segment, Mercedes-Benz’s focused objective was to topple its arch rival from its comfortable position. And now seems to be the right opportunity for Mercedes-Benz India. Not only did it launch two new cars in India, it ended up bringing a lot more cars which could be the future models for India. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG roadster: Adorning a super advanced design philosophy, though not new for India when we have already seen the same designs with the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG coupe, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG roadster drives like a mad horse with a top speed of 317 kmph with a powerful 420 KW 6.3 L V8 engine under the hood. The car accelerates from scratch to 100 kmph in 3.8 seconds. 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class: Quite a few of us might have experienced the driveability of the M-Class in India, the hot SUV despite its bulky stance has a powerful road presence and an uncompromising 190 KW 3.0 L V6 engine which makes it all the more possible to drive at a top speed of 224 kmph. While it might take sometime before the A-Class transforming to real-time model, it would be fun to see the new S600 Pullman range of limousines to be launched in India, which are soon going to replace the Maybach range globally. But, this is something Merecedes-Benz will have to decide as the Maybach range has never seen the light of the day in India unless if the cars were imported privately.
