Launch of 2012 AUDI TT’s scheduled on March 23rd

It is decided by Audi to launch its TT 2012 variant on 23rd March in India. As per reports, total modification has been made by the company in the exteriors, interiors and mechanics of this car. Complete different styling scheme has been followed for the front section of this car. New grille, bumper and headlamps are added in the new Audi TT. Fog lights now have LED day time running lights. Also the rear section has been made impressive by providing new diffuser and taillights.
Globally, the 2012 Audi TT sports car will bear many engine options such as a 2 liter TFSI turbo petrol producing 211 bhp power, a 1.8 liter TSI turbo petrol engine that churns160 bhp and 2 liter TDI turbo diesel producing power of 170 bhp. It is confirmed by the company that option of a six speed dual clutch DSG automatic gearbox and six speed manual gearboxes are provided. For Quattro Audi has made arrangement to all wheel drive system only for the top end variants.
In India, 2 liter TFSI petrol engine version of the Audi TT will be available. As per reports, the car will come as Completely Built Unit (CBU). With rise in custom duty from 65 percent to 70 percent on CBU imports, the Audi TT is expected to be expensive.Automobile News
